حينما تتأمل الصيف في مصر ، ستراه عند كثيرين رمال وبحر وجلسة على شط الإسكندرية ، لكنه عند آخرين هو ألبوم لمطرب إسكندراني ، يرقصون على إيقاعات أغانيه الخفيفة ، أو يسرحون على شاطئ البحر وهم يستمعون لأغانيه الهادئة وجيتاره الذي قلما يفارقه ، رغم أنهم قد لا يتذكرون متى كانت أول مرة سمعوا فيها عن مصطفى قمر!
على شاطئ الإسكندرية كانت بداية الطريق "الوحيد" الذي يجيده قمر .. الموسيقي ، حين بدأت أصابع الطفل الصغير تلاعب أوتار الماندولين الصغيرة مثله ، لتتحول إلى جيتار فيما بعد ، أحد الصفات المميزة لقمر سواء في حفلاته أو لقاءاته التليفزيونية ، ومثل شباب كثيرين غيره ، كانت جلساته مع أصدقائه تستدعي داخلهم أغاني يكتبها أحدهم ، ويلحنها آخر ليغنيها صاحب الصوت الخفيف ، وبين حفلات صيف إسكندرية ، ومدرجات كلية التجارة عرف الشباب "شلة لذيذة" تقدم موسيقى فطرية وأغاني خفيفة جذبتهم.
كانت "الشلة" الصغيرة تضم إلى جانب قمر المؤلف سامح العجمي الذي ألف أغلب أغانيه ، وخالد عبد الفتاح مدير أعماله في المستقبل ، كانوا يدفعون أغنياتهم الخاصة وسط أغاني عبد الحليم التي يرددها الطالب الجامعي وهو يعزف على جيتاره.
وكانت أول أغنية لهم "كان لي في يوم حبيب" التي طرحها فيما بعد قمر في ألبومه الخامس الخاص جداً "لمن يهمه الأمر" ، والذي قدم فيه قمر خمس أغنيات فقط من ألحانه ، لكل أغنية قصتها الخاصة لديه ، حكى حكايتهم معه في كتاب أصدره مع الألبوم ، وأثار حينها أكثر من تساؤل عن هذا المطرب الجديد ، الذي يصدر ألبوما وكتاباً بهذا الشكل ، لكن الرد كان في العنوان ، إنه لمن يهمهم أمر مصطفى قمر فقط ، وإليهم وجه كلمته في نهايته "لما نامت المدينة ، حلمت أنا أني أوصل قلوبكم .. ولسه قدامي طريق طويل".

التأكيد لم يكن مشوار قمر مفروشاً بالورود ، فقبل أن يقابله حميد الشاعري كان كل ما يفعله هو الغناء لطلبة الجامعة وشباب صيف الإسكندرية ، إلى أن أخذه الشاعري بعيداً عن البحر إلى القاهرة وشركات الإنتاج ، ليعرف قمر عالماً جديداً ، عرف معه أول شهرة حقيقية مع أغنية "ولا يا أبو خد جميل" في ألبوم "الصداقة" الذي ضمه إلى جانب شاب آخر "جديد" اسمه إيهاب توفيق ، قبل ان يمكن من إصدار ألبومه الأول "وصاف" والذي كان بأكمله من توزيع الشاعري.
"الطريق الطويل" الذي تحدث عنه قمر في ألبومه ، لم يسر به في اتجاه واحد ، تشعبت طرقه ما بين التلحين الذي أحبه منذ صغره ، وممارسة هواية جديدة أتقنها وهي تصوير أغانيه "فيديو كليب" ، تمهيداً لطريق آخر أحبه وهو "السينما".
فمنذ بدايته وقمر يعرف أهمية الفيديو كليب ، فقام بتصوير أغانيه الطويلة الأقرب إلى الفيلم السينمائي "سكة العاشقين" ، وصور أغانيه الصيفية مثل "الليلة دوب" ، وحتى أغانيه القصيرة مثل "خبيني" إهتم بظهورها في صورة مميزة.
وهذا ما جعل الفديو كليب بالنسبة لمصطفى قمر عامل مميز جداً ، فهو يحاول دوماً استخدام طرق جديدة في التصوير ، وأفكار عديدة ، مثل أغنيته "منايا" ، وأغنية "مين غيرك" ، وهي أغاني كان لتصويرها العامل الأكبر في تذكر الجمهور لها!
وأغلب جماهير مصطفى قمر لا يتذكرون أغاني مثل "إسكندراني" ، و"البيانولا" ، و"علمني" ، و"جراح" من ألبوماته الأولى ، أوحتى أغاني جديدة من ألبوماته الأخيرة ، جرب أن تستوقف أي شخص يمر أمامك وإساله ماذا يتذكر منها ، قد تجد أن الإجابة محبطة ، لكنها لا تعني أن من أجابك لا يحب مصطفى قمر ، لكنه يراه أصبح يراه مطرب خفيف الدم ، مقبول ، صوته معقول وكلام أغانيه حلو ، إلا أغنياته مثل أغاني كثيرين غيره ، خفيفة وتطير من ذاكرتك بسهولة.

مر لم يغفل عن هذه الحقيقة ، وهذا ما دفعه بقوة إلى السينما ، فكما قال في حوار تليفزيوني "السينما هي التي تخلد المطرب واغنياته ، وكل المطربين الكبار تركوا وراءهم افلاما خلدت اغنياتهم".
وبدأت رحلته السينمائية من خلال رفيقين ضمنا له النجاح العملاق أحمد زكي والضاحك محمد هنيدي ، وتقبل الجمهور في فيلم "البطل" عام 1998 ذلك المطرب الشاب الوسيم ممثلاً ، إلا أن قمر الذي سار في طريق الغناء بهدوء وصبر طويل ، لم ينتظر كثيراً قبل أن يخطو خطوة "واسعة" ليقوم ببطولة فيلم "الحب الأول" عام 2001 مع حنان ترك ومنى زكي ، كان الفيلم تجربة رومانسية ، محاولة لإحياء عبد الحيلم حافظ مرة ثانية ، لكنها في نظر النقاد باءت بالفشل!
إلا أن الشاب الإسكندراني لم يتراجع بسهولة ، وقدم في نهاية نفس العام "أصحاب ولا بيزنس" عام 2001 وحقق نجاحاً كبيراً ، ومنذ ذلك الحين أصبح قمر ضيف دائم على دور العرض كل عام.
وعلى الرغم من أن بدايته الرئيسية مع الفن السابع كانت مجرد محاولات "فاشلة" لإحياء أفلام الأبيض والأسود ، إلا أنه بدأ مؤخراً في محاولة تقديم نفسه في قالب خاص به ، وكأنه يحاول إكتشاف قدراته التمئيلية مع الجمهور ، ليقدم "حبك نار" عام 2004 ، والذي حاز على إعجاب الجمهور والنقاد ، ثم يقدم "حريم كريم" الذي يعد "كريزة" موسم صيف 2005 لتصدره إيرادات شباك التذاكر منذ يوم عرضه إلى نهاية الموسم!
والآن يحاول قمر إكتشاف قدراته على مواجهة عالم الدارما التليفزيونية – مع الجمهور أيضاً – من خلال مسلسل "علي يا ويكا" .. فأي كفة من الثلاث سيتربع عليها قمر"الفنان"؟!1

Moustafa Ahmed Mohamed Hassan Amar,
AKA Mostafa Amar was born. He lived a normal childhood and then it was time for the young Mostafa to go to school. The first stop in his education was Al-Shaheed Abbas School in Al-Ibrahimia district. His talent and love for music and singing first saw the light when his music teacher chose him as the lead singer in the school concert.
When he was ten, his father got him the only birthday present he had ever wanted; a guitar! Every summer he would attend classes, organized by the Conservatoire, to learn how to master the guitar. Even when he enrolled in the Faculty of Commerce, University of Alexandria later on, Mostafa didn't give up his love for music and remained a student in the summer music classes.
Then, came the difficult stage of moving from his beloved Alexandria to Cairo to find a production company that would back his talent. When he finally signed up with a major company, making his first album was far from easy so he released his first song Wala Yabou Khad Gameel in a collective album with other talented singers. It was not until 1990 though, that the album Wassaf hit the markets. But the album was definitely worth it; it made Mostafa into a star and proved that he had what it takes to reach stardom. It was then that Mostafa decided to shoot his song Dabadebou as a video clip and once it was aired, it was popular in no time!
At the end of 1992 and beginning of 1993, the young singer released his second album Layaleki. The album achieved huge sales and pushed the singer further ahead. Mostafa always tried to present different things and thus after a while, he teamed up with famous actress Nelly and sang and shot the duet Papa Noel.
More problems arouse but once they were all solved, Amar's third album Seket Al-Ashe'en saw the light and dazzled his fans. His fourth album Eftekerney was no different than the previous three when it came to success and popularity. It was then that Mostafa decided to gather five of his very first songs that were dear to his heart, in an album called Ela Man Yehomo Al-Amr. Amar's next albums; Tal Al-Leil, Nar El-Hob and Enaek Wahshaney, were released after that. The next step for Amar was the duet Ghazali with famous composer/singer Hamid El-Shaeri. The clip and song were unique and popular among the fans.
Aisheen was the singer's next album and included a duet with the Gipsy Kings Group. Haity and Monaya were Amar's next masterpieces and as usual they were both successful and popular. The clips of the two leading songs of both albums were also very unique when it came to the idea, directing and acting skills.
As for the silver screen, Mostafa invaded it and presented several films. Amar starred in films like "Al-Batal" alongside Ahmed Zaki and Mohamed Henedi, "Al-Hob Al-Awal" with Mona Zaki and Hanan Turk, "Ashab Wala Business" with Hani Salama, "Alb Garee" with Yasmine Abdul Aziz and "Bahebak Wana Kaman" with Somaya Khashab, "Hobak Nar" alongside Nelly Karim, "Hareem Kareem" with Yasmine Abdel Aziz and Dalia Albeheiry, and finally his latest movie "3essabet Dr.Omar" with Yasmine Abdel Aziz.
Amar's latest album "Lessa Habayeb" hit the markets last year, which achieved a great success after 2 years of abscence.

Biographie de Mostafa Amar Moustafa Ahmed Mohamed Hassan Amar (l'arabe : ãÕØÝìÞãÑ) (né le 22 septembre, 1966), connu sous le nom de Mostafa Amar, est un chanteur et un acteur égyptien. Il est egalement connu sous le nom comme Mustafa Amar et Moustafa Qamar. Moustafa est allé à l'école d'Abbas d'Al-Shaheed où son talent et amour pour la musique et chant gagne lui le rôle du chanteur principal dans le concert d'école. Son père lui a obtenu une guitare quand il avait dix ans et il a commencé à prendre des cours d'été. Plus tard il s'est occupé de l'université d'Alexandrie et bien qu'un étudiant dans le département d'affaires il ait continué ses classes de musique d'été. Après université, il s'est déplacé au Caire pour trouver une compagnie de production. Sa première chanson était « Wala Yabou Khad Gameel », libéré sur un album collectif avec d'autres chanteurs doués, et en 1990 il a libéré son premier album solo, Wassaf. En 1992-1993, il a sorti son deuxième album, Layaleki, qui s'est bien vendu. Il s'est également associé à l'actrice Nilly sur un duet, « papa Noel ». Il a partnered également avec l'EL Shari et les Rois gitans Group de Hamid d'arangeur/chanteur. En 2004 il a sorti Ensa, son 14ème album. En plus d'écrire sa propre musique, il a composé pour d'autres chanteurs arabes comprenant Ehab Tawfik et EL Haggar d'Ali. Il est marié et a deux fils. Mustafa Amar under review! Unlike our other articles this article in an appreciation letter. Mustafa Amar is one of the most creative singers in the Arab world when it comes to making music video clips. He invests so much energy into his video clips that makes them so much fun to watch. His creativity did not come from vacuum as it is full of western ideas. For example the video clip “Habib Hayati” is a copy of Will Smith’s video clip “Miami”. There is nothing wrong with that at all as he did in a very creative and fun way.
The point that I am trying to get across is that we can copy the west but we don’t have to copy their vulgarity. Moreover, we don’t have to be half naked to get our idea across and use our sex appeal to create a buzz. Mustafa Amar takes the best of both worlds; I give him all the credit when it comes to his video clips. I do also appreciate the director but it was Mustafa Amar who picked the director in the first place and conveyed his ideas to him. I see three main ingredients in his video clips: a great song, having fun with it and being creative.
As for other artists, we should learn a lot from Mustafa. I really like what’s I am seeing these days with the new video clips but what I wish for is for the new comers to be creative with their work. And the young ladies, don’t sell yourself for a quick buck because trust me nothing last. Thank you Mustafa Amar for being a great original artist.

Mustafa Amar's songs have a specific message pertaining to love but his video clips always convey his message in a artisitc, humorous way, a young,hip approach is always taken purposely to grab the attention of audience members of all ages. I applaud Mustafa for his work, and I do admit that he is a prime example that mimicing the West isn't always bad. In fact, he is not copying the West, he is expressing his artistic side of humor through his music, music that will be cherished throughout the years...songs such as "Habib Hayati", "Monaya", "Ayam" are played continously throughout the Middle East and wherever you find Mustafa fans worldwide to this day!
